STORY OF A LITTLE SOUL is an upcoming biographical interactive drama about the life and family of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux - the "greatest saint of modern times" [1] - portrayed through the eyes of her sister Céline.
The production is currently being developed as Little Way Productions' debut title, an independent studio based in Victoria BC, working with a worldwide team of film and video game industry veterans [2].
Drawing inspiration from the likes of LIFE IS STRANGE and BEYOND: TWO SOULS, STORY OF A LITTLE SOUL furthers the interactive drama genre by creating an immersive narrative based on the true lives of historical figures.
STORY OF A LITTLE SOUL will allow audiences to explore faithfully recreated environments and relive key moments of the characters' lives through an engaging story, based on over five thousand pages of historical documents.
We combine existing facial capture technology with our in-house markerless motion capture system to faithfully reproduce actors' motions onto CGI characters.
